Mrs. Merrill Mahorney, 75, of Mace, died Wednesday afternoon in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville. Mrs. Mahorney was a member of the Mace United Methodist Church and Rebekah Lodge at Ladoga. Born July 28, 1895, at Ladoga, she was a daughter of Ben and Alice Dodd Zimmerman. She was married to George Mahorney who died last March. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Ramona Luebking of Fort Wayne; two grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Gephart Funeral Home at Ladoga with Rev. Jack Frick, pastor of the Mace United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in the Ladoga Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Thursday.
